Greetings business addicts filled with passion!
Are you familiar with the 4 P’s of marketing? If you’re not, they refer to price, product, place (or distribution), and promotion. While this is very handy when developing your small business, experts tend to forget the other 4 P’s… The 4 P’s of Pietila… yeah, I made them up but hopefully they help you anyway. They are Passion, Positivity, Persistence, and Patience. We’re going to go into a new P over the next four weeks and we’ll start today with Passion.
Self-employment is hard. Work in general is hard. You’re surrounded by stress and the money doesn’t always match the efforts. Why do we follow our idiotic dreams though? Money is a possibility but rarely tends to be the case in the realm of entrepreneurship. There’s a legitimate purpose. We identify something that can be better and we want to make it happen. We get so excited about our cause that we forget about the need for a conventional job. Risks are always there and we know we cannot do this through another organization. We crave the flexibility to execute our visions to the highest of standards. Passion drives our entrepreneurship.
I have faced many challenges while growing my businesses. I’ve gotten to the point where I considered giving up and maybe coming back to it in the future. However, God always creates an opportunity or a situation that reminds me why I started this: Passion. As entrepreneurs, you’ll encounter obstacles. Remember that if it’s not challenging, it’s not worth it. This is the avenue you need to take in order to satisfy that hunger you have to make something better. Passion is a huge pillar as you work to Be More through Christ.
Tell me your passion.
