Water is incredibly important in leading a healthy life style. However, if you drink too much of it, you can technically drown. The sun is the prime source of energy on our planet. If you have too much exposure to it, you’re going to get skin cancer. You’re going to look pretty weird too. My point is that there are a lot of good things in this life. However, if overdone, these positives can become negatives for you and the people around you.
Business people need to consider this philosophy in every aspect of their organization. Here are some examples:
Contracts are great. You need them for protection in important handlings. However, if there are too many stipulations, you can lose the deal or even a future deal. Additionally, everyone may be too restricted to accomplish anything once the agreement is executed. That’s just bad business.
Technology leads to more efficient processes and cost savings. However, if you integrate too much innovation (there is such a thing), you lose a personal connection to your clients and community. Your clients will move to companies that are still innovative but are more considerate of their custom needs.
Videos are good for social media engagement. However, if you post 755 in one day, people will block you and may even hate you. I haven’t tested this theory yet but I’m pretty sure it’s true.
I can go all day on this. You need to invest money to make money. However, if you spend all the money at once, you’re broke. You gotta eat!
Do you think there’s an exception to this? Challenge me! Let me know your always-positive task and I’ll figure out how it can be overdone! I’m really not trying to be a pessimist, I promise. Business people need to remember the importance of balance!
